Bamboo Fitteds

What is a fitted diaper?  Fitted diapers are a "diaper shaped" (as opposed to prefold rectangle) absorbent component of a diaper-with-cover system. They are contoured and fitted with elastic around the legs and back.    A waterproof cover (PUL, wool, or fleece) is worn over them.  Fitteds made of bamboo fabric have the benefit of super absorbency and super softness.  They are commonly used at nights or for heavy wetters.

These are one size fits all (approx 9-35 lbs).  When you use a snappi or pins you can get the most customizable fit.  I can also add snaps if you prefer.  The rise can be folded down to fit a newborn and when fully extended, fits a toddler.  The 2 snap in soakers can be stacked together or used singly.

All fabrics have been prewashed to reduce shrinkage. Bamboo fabrics will reach maximum absorbency in 5-10 washes however you may use these right away, recognizing the need for more frequent changes until prepping is complete.

Outer Print:  Typically 100% Cotton Knit, may vary

Hidden = Organic Bamboo Fleece:  70% Bamboo and 30% Organic Cotton

Inner = OBF or Velour, your choice, based on availability. 

2 Snap-In Soakers

Each is 3 layers!
Short under soaker is 3 layers of OBF
Long top soaker is 2 layers of OBF and your choice of top.

Stacking both soakers will give you NINE thirsty layers of absorption!

TOP Soaker Options:

2 layers of Organic Bamboo Fleece 

and your choice of tops (you can also request the entire inner of the diaper in any of these):

• Organic Bamboo Fleece (most absorbent option)
• Cotton Velour (80% Cotton, 20% Poly.  Just as soft as OBV and wears/washes great!).  Comes in a variety of colors.
• Organic Bamboo Velour (luxuriously SOFT!  70% Bamboo, 28% Organic Cotton, and 2% Poly).  **Not always available, please inquire**

When you order a custom fitted, please choose:
1.  Snaps or Snapless
2.  Turned & Topstitched or Serged Edges
3.  Soaker construction (OBF, OBV, or CV tops).  Subject to availability.

The "POCKET FITTED", an economical option:

The pocket fitted is 3 layers.  Outer knit print of your choice.  Hidden layer is OBF (bamboo fleece).  For the inner, you can choose cotton velour or suedecloth(stay-dry).  It is a one-size diaper.  The rise snaps down to adjust (like a typical pocket diaper).  The snapping pocket fitted is $12.  (snapless are $10 and the rise adjusts by folding down).  You can stuff them with anything you like.  They do not come with inserts.          

   

Bamboo/Cotton Fitted CARE:

Recommended Washing Routine:

1. Cold rinse.

2. Wash on hot, scant amount of diaper/baby safe detergent

3. Cold rinse.

Drying:

These diapers may be machine dried.  To prolong the life of the fabrics, you can partially line-dry then finish them in the dryer to maintain softness.  Or vice versa - I find it more convenient to start mine in the dryer with all my prefolds and other diaper laundry – then when the other things are done, I hang them to complete the drying.
